I think some of you may know the feeling of starting up your own little business. Firstly showing a few of your friends and them wanting some of your products, then the day when someone you don’t know wants it too. I guess you always hope for the day when you could open your own space, surrounded by great people, and fill it with your things.

We are SO crazily excited to share with you our new retail space within the Lamington Drive building. It’s something we have worked so hard to achieve while juggling life on the side.  We hope you love it as much as we do!

Please go in and have a visit and let us know what you think!

*A big thank you to Sarah Parkes of Smalltown Macrame for her beautiful hangers too. If you want to buy one you check her out here http://smalltown.net.au/

If you’ve ever wanted to know what really goes on inside the wacky world of Miniscapes, the super talented and all round awesome dude, Oliver Ramsey, has made this great video for us to show you all- complete with judgmental Donkey!

Thanks so much Oliver! Keep your eyes peeled on his website http://www.oliverramsay.com, he’s definitely one to watch.

Hey guys,

We have been up to a fair bit in the Miniscapes studio.

There are a few projects that we are just bursting to tell you about but they have not been launched yet so we are sworn to secrecy. When we can, you will be the first to know!

Our studio is bustling with new glass, new plants and a whole lot of and new projects on the horizon, so be sure to check back soon.

We can tell you about two exciting projects that we have been apart of lately. We were commissioned by WITSUP- Women in Triathlon to create a large dome terrarium for their recent event with little triathletes battling the rocky terrain. We had heaps of fun with this project, and these women are pretty inspiring.

AND! We are so so happy to tell you about our terrariums in the new Jardan showroom in Sydney. Being the massive fans of Jardan’s furniture that we are, we were totally chuffed when they ordered some terrariums with their industrial chic Sydney showroom. It’s like a match made in heaven- we think so anyway.

If you’re in Sydney and want to check out some Miniscapes (or some beautiful Melbourne designed furniture) go ahead!

(31 Dunning Avenue, Rosebery Sydney.)

That’s enough for now, but yes, visit us again soon for more projects and terrarium madness.

Until then

-Miniscapes Crew
